A Dish for Charity

How would you like to have a great Cabernet Braised Short Rib dinner and help a charity for kids?

Chef Brian from the Red Door restaurant in Mission Hills is offering up his short ribs creation as the “Dollar A Dish” item this month. A dollar from each purchase of this dish will go to the San Diego Food Bank fundraiser.

Also, if you bring a new backpack to donate on Aug. 17, and order the ribs, you will get a free dessert anytime in September. My favorite is their Banana Cream Pie. They put their own light chocolate twist on it, and it is the absolute, hands down, best Banana Cream Pie I have ever had.
